Two teenagers are in hospital following collision on Gresty Road, Crewe

Cheshire Police BadgePolice are appealing for witnesses after two pedestrians were seriously injured following a collision with a car in Crewe.

The collision happened at approximately 5.40pm on Sunday, 1st November on Gresty Road in Crewe and involved the two female pedestrians and a Skoda Octavia car being driven along the road.

A police spokesman commented:
The casualties, who are aged 16 and 17 years old, sustained serious multiple injuries and were taken to Leighton hospital for treatment.
The 16 yr old female remained in Leighton hospital in Crewe, but the 17yr female old was later transferred to North Staffs for further treatment.

The driver of the car involved is currently helping us with our investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has anyone with information is asked to contact Frank Lafferty at Cheshire police on 101, quoting incident number 797 of November 1st 2015.
