The ‘Fly It Up Red’ Charity Funday And Balloon Release

Join in with the Paint the Town Red for Autism Charity Balloon release which is called…’Fly it up Red’
The event will be held at Willaston social club on May 3rd.

Paint The Town Red 2014This is all part of the positive awareness campaign for ‘Paint the Town Red for Autism’.
Last year in Nantwich a fantastic event was held named ‘Light it up Red’ and this year the team are hoping to ‘Fly it up Red’.

There will be lots of stalls, games, things for the kiddies and lots lots more going on at the club during the day so please keep the date free and come to Willaston club for an event that promises to be filled with fun and frolics for all!

The lovely staff of the club will be welcoming you indoors or you can spend the day outside and let the children play on the fab play equipment.

They will be selling balloons on the day and prior to the event for £1.
Everyone who buys a balloon for the release will be entered into the grand prize draw to be drawn on the day.

The organisers are looking for local businesses who would like to help with prize donations of Looking for donations of bottles of wine, chocolates, and other yummy things!
Businesses can even help with sponsorship of this lovely event.
Local shops are also invited to sell the Balloons in advance so if you could help with sponsorship, donations or Balloon selling then please get in touch with the organisers on

How does the release work?
Buy a balloon from the team… in person, on the day, or at various stands around and about before the event.
The Crewe News will be publishing a list of venues to purchase your Balloon from as soon as we have more details.

All Balloons will be released from Willaston Club on the day of the event.

You can get your Balloons from The Crewe News right away so if you would like a Balloon please email us with your details and we will visit you at a time of your convenience to pick up your Balloon money and will take your details to pass onto the Balloon team, you can get in touch with us on

There is also an Autism aware activity pack that one of the organisers have created that has been sent out to schools, groups and organisations as far away as Canada, America, Australia and Sweden.
The pack is full of information and activities so people can have their own ‘Paint it Red activity day’

Proceeds from the event and Balloon sales will be going towards The Big Group & purchase of sensory equipment for local schools/groups supporting children with autism/asperger syndrome.
