The Samaritans of South Cheshire are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year of volunteering at Crewe and they are hosting a charity auction soon.
The Samaritans’ event will be held at St Michael’s Church Hall, Ford Lane, Crewe.
Doors open at 7 30pm for an 8pm start to the auction.
Tickets are £5 which includes supper and there will be a bar – call 07779 917508 to book.
One of the many lots in the Crewe South Cheshire Samaritans’ charity auction is a brand new ivory wedding dress in size 12.
Retailing at £1000 this gorgeous dress has been most generously donated by Tiffany’s Wardrobe, Nantwich Road, Crewe.
If anyone would like to see the dress or arrange a fitting please visit the shop or call Lisa on 01270 255048.
If anyone is unable to be at the auction, they may make an absentee bid for the dress in advance.
In addition to the dress there will be more than 50 lots – days out, holiday house let, meals out, piano lessons, rail tickets, professional gardening services, domestic equipment, and many other items.
Samaritans is an entirely voluntary organisation, to maintain their listening work fundraising is essential.
The auction provides an opportunity to obtain a bargain, have a great night out, and support a charity dedicated to serving the local community.
Samaritans is available round the clock, every single day of the year.
They provide a safe place for anyone struggling to cope, whoever they are, however they feel, whatever life has done to them.
