A Charity Auction is to take place in Crewe on June 7th at the Crosville club in aid of Cancer Research UK in memory of a local lady who sadly passed away 2 years ago.
Three local people from Crewe have got together in hope of raising much needed funds for a charity close to their hearts.
Carla and Phillip Davies have teamed up with Toni Molloy-Jones to host the event at the popular club in Crewe in memory of Carlas mother-in-law.
I wanted to help Cancer Research UK (reg no 1089464) in memory of my mother-in-law Lesley Davies who passed away two years ago in March from cancer.
This event is also in honour of a very inspirational Auntie of mine who has battled and beaten breast cancer for the second time and for anyone who has been touched by this terrible disease.
We are contacting stars and businesses to see if they would be willing to send us a signed photo, vouchers or items that we could auction off or use to put together hampers to auction or raffle so we can raise as much money as we can for this fantastic charity!
Phillip has set up a just giving page too where you can donate straight to his cause.
You can find his page here Phillip Davies
In March 2011 we lost my lovely Mum Lesley to Cancer.
As of last year the family decided that every year we would raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Almost everybody has been touched by Cancer at some point in their lives, either themselves or via a loved one.
Every penny goes towards making sure that we eventually find a cure for this awful disease
The event is on the 7th June and is £2 on the door.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
If you are a local business or you can help with donating items for this event then please get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will forward your emails to Carla who will be in touch.
Any help you can give will be much appreciated.
