A total of 101 tappers, aged from 5 to 83 years tap danced in sequence to the hit “Happy” by Pharrell Williams on Sunday 16th November to raise money for Children In Need.
The dancers, all students from three local dance schools, learnt the routine during their normal dance lessons then came together at the Guy Harvey Centre in Nantwich, as part of a nationwide tapathon, to perform the routine in aid of Pudsey’s appeal.
Lesley Cummings of Sandbach based Feet First Dance said:
“We are thrilled to have raised nearly £1,000 for such a worthy cause.
This has become an annual event for us and we are already looking forward to tap dancing again for Pudsey next year.”
