Tap Dancers From Nantwich And Sandbach Join Forces To Raise Funds For Children In Need

Tap dancing students from Sandbach and Nantwich have joined forces to raise money for Children In Need.

During recent months the pupils from Feet First Dance, Sandbach and Dysart School of Dance, Nantwich learnt a routine to the song “Candy” by Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow.
On Sunday, the tappers all came together at the Guy Harvey Youth Club in Nantwich, as part of a nationwide tapathon, to perform the routine in aid of Children in Need.

A total of 80 tappers, aged from 4 to 82 years danced in sequence and raised nearly £1,000 for the BBC charity.

Lesley Cummings of Feet First Dance said:
“This has become an annual event for us.
Everyone looks forward to dancing together and raising money for this worthy cause.
We will be tap dancing again for Pudsey next year.”

Anyone wishing to join should call Lesley at Feet First Dance on 01270 764548, or email feetfirstdance@gmail.com
