Crewe’s Seahorse Swimming Club, for people with disabilities, enjoy success at the Halliwick Regional Gala at Ellesmere Port.
The Crewe Seahorse Swimming Club‘s recent to Halliwick was a joyous occasion for all when they came away with twelve medals – eight gold, three silver and one bronze.
They also won the Frank Hough trophy as overall winners, with competition from Sailfin Swimming Club, Sale and Aquadis Swimming Club, Ellesmere Port.
The competition included junior and senior relay, 25 metre, 50 metre and 100 meter races.
Representing Seahorse was:
Shea Dutton, Paul Edwards, Sam Foster, Amy Halfpenny, Brandon Halfpenny, Jonathan Harrison, Neil Jones, Andrew Mulliner, Sean Savage, Jenny Tarry and Ben Triner.

“Winning so many medals was a great achievement for the Club.
The swimmers were proud to come away as overall winners and they are now preparing themselves for the Halliwick National Gala to be held later this month in London”.
