St. Johns Ambulance Cadets From Sandbach And Crewe Win Awards

Members of St. John Ambulance Cadets from Sandbach and Crewe were awarded at a presentation evening held at Crewe Alexandra Stadium on Monday, 22nd April.
Dame of the Order of St. John, Barbara Smith, enrolled 14 new members into the Sandbach and Crewe divisions.
Various senior members of St. John awarded 31 Bronze, Silver and Gold Grand Prior Certificates to cadets completing exams in up to 20 subjects.
The Highest certificate St. John cadets can achieve is the Grand Prior Certificate and this was awarded to Alex McNally, Daniel Prime, Sam Harrison, Cindy Tsang and Katrina Gnyp.

Sandbach Mayor, Councillor Carolyn Lowe, said:
“I was pleased to attend the awards evening and present the ‘Most Promising Cadet Trophy’ to Anna Mackay of Crewe Division.
I was most impressed with the number of cadets who had achieved during the last year.
Cadets were also recognised for duties and services with Amy Reed, Chris Wilmer, Gabrielle Williams, James Mayo, Daniel Prime and Alex McNally receiving certificates for 50 hours service.
Gabrielle Williams, James Mayo, Daniel Prime and Alex McNally for 100 hours service whilst Sam Harrison received a certificate for a phenomenal 1,000 hours of service.”

Deputy Mayor of Cheshire East Council, Councillor Dorothy Flude, praised the cadets for their achievements prior to presenting the “Most Improved Cadet Trophy” to Christian Capper of the Crewe Division.
