South Cheshire based musicians Phil Maddocks and Nick Bayes make a long overdue return to Crewe’s Imp pub on Thursday 29th August.
They visit the Edleston Road hostelry to perform their newest songs as well as some of their ‘greatest hits’.
The duo have enjoyed a busy start to 2013 playing a host of gigs and festivals around the North West of England.
Recent support slots have included soul legends The Christians, Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), Mark Radcliffe (Radio 6), and John Bramwell (I Am Kloot).
The pair are currently recording their debut album, due for an autumn release.
Nick Bayes said:
“we’ve been really busy working on the new record and are really looking forward to getting out and playing the new songs live.
We’ve brought in some excellent guest musicians for this album and it really has been a pleasure to do.
The producer, Dan Rowley, has used some analogue recording techniques and we’re really pleased with the result”.
The show at The Imp is free admission, and starts at 9.00pm.
