Sandbach Mayors Last Charity Function To Be Held On April 28th

A Music, Song and Dance Show is the final fund raising event to be organised by Sandbach Mayor, Cllr Carolyn Lowe, as her term of office draws to a close.

Carolyn explained:
“As soon as I knew I going to be Mayor of Sandbach I asked my tap teacher, Lesley Cummings of Feet First Dance, if the troupe could do a show in aid of my chosen charities.
We’ve done lots of shows before, in aid of a wide range of charities including Children In Need and Visyon, so Lesley immediately agreed to organise a show and we’ve been practising ever since.
As well as tap and jazz dance routines the show will also include performances by musicians, singers and the “Can’t Sing Choir?”. Lesley is a brilliant choreographer and all the dancers have been working hard to perfect their routines.
There will be lots of variety to suit all tastes and some fantastic music to enjoy.”

Lesley Cummings continued:
“The show will take place on the stage in the main hall at Sandbach High School. Doors open at 4:30pm for a late matinee performance at 5:00pm on Sunday 28th April”.

Tickets cost £5 (Under 16’s £3) and are available from:

  • Sandbach Town Council, Literary Institute, High Town
