Over the past few months motorists have been inundated with temporary road closures or temporary traffic lights around the West end of Crewe, with yet more still to come.
Victoria Avenue junction with West Street has seen highway widening and the installation of new traffic light system being installed.
Dunwoody Way at its junction with West Street has been ongoing now for several weeks with restructuring of the junction, resurfacing and traffic light alterations to accommodate the new ‘Carriages’ housing development of the Bombardier site.
Now the areas road network is to be thrown into further turmoil yet again from July 3rd 2014.
With the roads already struggling to cope with the severe congestion caused daily on all roads around West Street & Badger Avenue area, motorist and residents are being told to prepare and grit their teeth once more.
Although this will undoubtedly cause problems for motorists and residences in the area, there will also be cheers of joy that this work is finally taking place.
