Queen’s Park Ants Volunteer Group Were Once Again Busy In The Park

ANTSQueen’s Park Ants Volunteer Group were once again busy in the park last weekend with work being centred around two main areas.

Led by Charlie Griffiths of the newly formed company of Cheshire East Council called Ansa Environmental Services, the Ants cleared, levelled and seeded the area at the rear of the East Lodge, adjacent to the recently resurfaced path.

The other area was to the left of the playground, where the shrub beds were weeded, tidied and other ground prepared for more grass seeding.

Ants spokesperson, Kirsty Taylor said:
“The weather held out for us and we had yet another great turnout of willing volunteers, including more new faces. The Ants continue to go from strength to strength. “
