After a complete refurbishment of Sandbach’s Town Hall, this town centre iconic building is opening its doors to the public at an official ceremony on Wednesday 19th February.
The Mayor of Sandbach will cut the ribbon at 2pm, after which visitors are invited to look around the new facilities and upgraded rooms.
The entire appearance of the inside of the Town Hall has been brought up to date.
The entrance foyer and stairs now have a bright contemporary feel that hint at the high standards of presentation in the hire rooms available.
The Ballroom has a new maple dance floor and boasts updated and versatile lighting as well as additional facilities such as the large retractable presentation screen and projector, superb PA, sound system and stage lighting, moveable bar facility, and the option to divide the room.
The Boardroom is a stand alone hire space with access directly off the High Street. It is ideal for business meetings, training, social occasions, children’s parties and much more.
The Boardroom offers a retractable presentation screen and projector and benefits from dedicated kitchen facilities and toilets.
The Charter Room, located above the Ballroom, is a multi functional space ideally suited to business and social functions. The décor and attractive architectural features combined with fitted retractable screen and projector make it a welcoming and practical space.
The Charter Room licensed bar is discretely hidden behind a contemporary and fully automated screen and there is also an adjoining kitchen for refreshments.
The Charter Room can be hired separately, since it is sound proofed from the Ballroom’s activities.
The doors will be open for anyone to come along and view the facilities between 2:00pm and 6.30pm.
Each room will be set up to display various options for use and there will be people on hand to guide you round and answer your questions.
