Nantwich Show 2014 held at Dorfold Park yet again a huge success

Nantwich Show 2014 held at Dorfold Park yet again proved to be a huge success, with thousands of visitors enjoying the wide variety of exhibition stalls under a summer sky.

Dr. Adrian Heald is pictured below at the National Farmers Union (NFU) stand with Rob Ford, former NFU Cheshire county chairman, North West NFU Regional Director Robert Sheasby and Aarun Naik NFU Cheshire county adviser.

Dr. Heald Labour Parliamentary Candidate for Crewe and Nantwich said:
“Nantwich Show remains one of the top Agricultural Shows in the UK, and remains the largest Cheese Show in the world. The event shows just how important a thriving and viable farming sector is to all of us and provides real insight into the realities of farming in 2014”.

“The NFU sits at the heart of agriculture in the UK. At the NFU stand I heard about The ‘Leading the Way’ plan setting out a vision for profitable growth of the UK dairy industry based on economic, social and environmental sustainability. In agriculture as in manufacturing the UK must be competitive in a global context. I want to see Cheshire farmers supported by local and national government to achieve this”.
