McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd Submit Plans For New Restaurant & Drive-thru In Crewe

cheshire-east-councilMcDonald’s Restaurants Ltd have submitted a planning application to Cheshire East Council to build a new third Restaurant & Drive-thru in Crewe.

The proposed site plans were submitted on 28th April 2014 with an application for approval being made on 8th May 2014.

The application has been made to construct a freestanding restaurant with associated drive-thru lane, car parking and landscaping on land South of Dunwoody Way on part of the former Bombardier Works, Dunwoody Way, Crewe opposite the current Morrisons Supermarket.

Crewe currently has two McDonalds restaurants situated on Macon Way near to Crewe railway station (restaurant & drive-thru) and on Delamere Street in Crewe town centre.

Work on site for the proposed construction is estimated to begin 1st July 2014.

Plans also show a new Hungry Horse family restaurant by the Greene King – Pubs, Restaurant & Hotel Chain.
