Local lady Dawn Jennings Mellor is organising a charity prize Bingo night in aid of Manchester based childrens charity Lagans Foundation.
Lagan’s Foundation is a non-profit making organisation that aims to help families who have babies and children up to 5 years old, diagnosed with cardiac defects and/or feeding difficulties.
The Foundation’s purpose is to provide an at home and in hospital respite service staffed by trained volunteers to support parents in their caring role.
Kind hearted Dawn is hoping to raise lots of money on the night and is working really hard to make the night a success.
Crewe Alex player Kelvin Mellor will be on hand to sign pictures and autographs to help with the fund raising.
Bringing a poorly child in to the world is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do.
It doesn’t matter if you find out whilst you are pregnant or after the birth, no one can prepare you for the massive mountain you have to climb.
If you had just a little bit of support, you knew you were giving the best to your baby or child from the very start makes all the difference to every day living.
Cardiac children and children with feeding difficulties have an uphill battle every day.
Life becomes all about weight gain and feeding regimes and medicines.
The fantastic team at the Lagan’s Foundation hope to provide a friendly and helpful service to all those families who need it.
Dawns charity Bingo evening will be held at the Eight Farmers pub on Parkers road on June 10th from 7.30pm onwards.
If you wish to check out the foundation they have a Facebook page.
