Local lads Lee Hulme and Brian Morris are attempting to trek to the base of Mount Everest, the worlds highest mountain for local charty St Lukes Cheshire Hospice.
The trek will take place in November 2015 and will last 16 days.
They will attempt to reach an altitude 0f 5,332 metres and walk a distance of 115km.
They are doing this to raise funds for St Lukes (Cheshire) Hospice and their goal is to raise £10,000.
A fun evening to launch the fundraising will be taking place at the Alexandra stadium in Crewe on 9th May
The event starts at 8pm.
Top local family band Beardsmith will be taking to the stage, with Sounds Disco providing the music in between.
There will be lots of prizes to win in the super raffle, along with some top memorabilia that will be auctioned off.
This is a family friendly event and children are welcome.
