Kindhearted schoolgirl Elle Cross is planning to have her beautiful long hair cut off so she can donate it to a charity called the little princess trust.
13 year old Kings Grove student Elle is growing her hair as long as she can as she has made the decision that in a few months time her hair is going to be cut off and used for a fantastic purpose.
Elles hair will be donated to a charity where it will be used to make a wig for a child that has lost their hair from side effects of Cancer treatment.
The Little Princess trust provide real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
As a result of the treatment, most children will suffer hair loss as a side effect.
Some boys and girls cope remarkably well but for others this can be very upsetting.
Elle hopes that her hair will help to make a beautiful wig that can be given to a boy or girl who has sadly lost their hair through illness.
Her hair is already 9-10 inches long from the nape of her neck and hopes that there will be a lot more growth before scissors are taken to it in April.
Elle hair will be sent on its way to the charity where specialists will use the hair to tailor a wig specific to a childs needs.
The wigs cost £350 to be made so Elle is also hoping that kind people will sponsor her hair cutting adventures so the cost of making her hair into a wig will be covered for the charity.
Every penny counts towards Elles goal no matter how large or small so please consider sponsoring her where every penny received will make a huge difference to the charity and the work that it does.
