Sandbach Farmers’ & Artisan Market will celebrate the start of the new season on Saturday 14th February with a treat of free pancakes for all visitors.
Former chefs from “The Dutch Pancake House” in Manchester are visiting the market and offering their services as a special treat for visitors to the market.
Chris Lowe, from “The Dutch Pancake House”, said
“We will be cooking plain pancakes but there will be a variety of toppings available to add to the pancakes, such as sugar, lemon, syrup or chocolate.”
Free pancakes will be available between 10:00am and 1:00pm and other pancake activities will be taking place at various times during the morning.
The market, situated on the Cobbles, offers a wide variety of home grown, reared or home made foods, such as Cheshire cheeses, beef, lamb and pork, melt in the mouth pies, spicy sauces, eggs, chutneys, jams, cakes and breads.
Bedding plants and a vast selection of hand crafted products are also available on the market which trades from 9:00am – 1:30pm.
Live entertainment this month will be provided by guitarist Dayve Dean.
