Sandbach Town Centre Manager, Amanda Wagg is working in conjunction with Manners Pimblett Solicitors to provide a free legal clinic in Sandbach Town Hall.
The free legal clinics will take place every Thursday from 11:00am to 1.00pm and begin on 18th April 2013.
This is one of the initiatives that came out of the recent Town Centre Manager coffee mornings.
Amanda Wagg said:
“I am really pleased to be working with Manners Pimblett Solicitors to provide this service.
Sandbach does not have a Citizen’s Advice Bureau and hasn’t had one for a very long time.
The free drop in service provided by Manners Pimblett Solicitors aims to take the stress and hassle out of planning a visit to a solicitor, and make the atmosphere more informal.”
Tim Byram from Manners Pimblett Solicitors added:
“Sandbach does seem to have a demand for a free Legal advice clinic and as further Legal Aid is to be withdrawn from almost all areas of law, including family law from 1st April 2013, the time is right to introduce this service. Initially the clinic will be housed in the bar area on the second floor of the Town Hall and a lift is available if required.”
“Engaging with local businesses via the coffee mornings has identified a number of opportunities to improve on the current service offering and raise the profile of local businesses.”
