Tony Crowder, from Silverdale has been busy organising a Charity Fishing Competition to raise money for children with special needs.
He is calling out to all who enjoy basking in the sunshine whilst trying to catch a bite to join him this Sunday!
Tony along with 20 other anglers who have already signed up for the competition will be raising funds for Newcastle-under-Lyme based charity The Peter Pan Nursery for Children with Special Needs.
The Charity Fishing Competition is taking place this Sunday (21st July) at the Michelin Fishing Pool.
There are a range of prizes which are on offer; all have been donated by local businesses and suppliers! A special prize will be given to the person who is able to raise the most money for the special needs charity.
The Peter Pan Nursery based in Newcastle-under-Lyme provides education and support to children with special needs aged 0-5 years and their families.
It is the only setting of its kind in the region offering one-to-one and one-to-two educational support for children who have a wide range of disabilities, conditions and syndromes; such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Visual and Hearing Impairments, Physical delays and Speech and Language delays.
