Fire Crews Called To Large Blaze In Rodeheath

Fire crews were called to a coach depot in Rode Heath yesterday evening at around 8.30pm

Cheshire Fire and RescueFirefighters arrived to deal with a large fire involving a number of  coaches at the back of Stanways coach depot.

Eight fire engines in total from Congleton, Sandbach, Crewe and Staffordshire (Kidsgrove, Newcastle and Cheadle) attended.

Water hoses and foam were used to control the fire and one pump remains at the scene damping down.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by Cheshire Fire service and this incident will be updated when further details are available.
