If you love Acrobats, Clowns and highly skilled performers then you must not miss the chance to go and see the brilliant Circus Funtasia during its stay in Crewe this week!
This family run Circus arrived on Tipkinder Park at the weekend, it didn’t take them long to get the Big Top all set up and ready to wow the Crewe crowds.
We went to a performance tonight (May 23rd) to see what this circus has to offer, we ended up having a fantastic time and definitely recommend that you make sure you go for a visit while its here.
There is something at this circus for everyone, it is suitable for all ages and the promise of a great show like it says on their posters is exactly what these highly skilled performers give.
The Circus tent looked fabulous from the outside, we were amazed at how big it actually is once you are inside, there is no need at all to worry about our English weather either as it is a fully heated tent, we were all lovely and warm throughout the whole show.
There are refreshments on sale such as Popcorn, Candyfloss and lots of other things to choose from as well as light up toys for the kids (and big Kids of course)!
We cant say too much about the acts as we don’t want to spoil the surprise but we will say that the performers give everything to their parts of the show, the skills that these people have really are outstanding.
The costumes they wore were also a credit to them, they certainly looked very glamorous indeed!
The clown brought the house down with his antics and was very funny, he is a really loveable person and you cant help but laugh at his cheeky antics.
The show itself was a mix of highly skilled Acrobats, Jugglers, a high wire act and lots of fun and laughter as you would expect from a well thought out and mixed show suitable for all of the family.
There is also some audience participation involved but don’t think you are safe if you are one of them people that like to sit right at the back of the tent hiding, they like to give everyone the chance to join in with the fun in the ring too!
Tracey the ringmaster is the perfect host for the show, her daughter Nia is the youngest circus performer in the UK and is already delighting audiences at Circus Funtasia with her trampolining skills and regularly appears in different parts of the show.
The guys at Circus Funtasia are a lovely bunch of people and make you feel right at home as soon as you enter the Big Top.
They really know how to give people a brilliant show and we wish them all the best for when they leave us for another place.
We hope to see them back again next year in Crewe and to be honest it can’t come quick enough!
To find out show times or contact the team directly please follow them on their dedicated Facebook page on the link below
We have a lot of Photos and will be putting a gallery here but not until the Circus has finished as we don’t want to spoil it for anybody.
You will have to go and see it for yourself!
The Crewe News would like to express a huge thanks to Tracey and the brilliant Circus Funtasia Team for a fantastic night and a brilliant show, all the best for the future to you all!
