Dunelm Of Crewe To Host Charity Football Match In Aid Of Barnardos

By Rach Griffithsbarnardos logoStaff at Dunelm in Crewe have been busy this last few weeks organising a brilliant Charity Football match that is to be held be held at Clay Lane in Haslington on the evening of July 20th from 6pm onwards.

‘Inter Galacticos’ in hope to raise lots of money for the stores chosen charity which is Barnardos.

Barnardo’s believes in children regardless of their circumstances, gender, race, disability or behaviour.
Their purpose as a charity today is to transform the lives of the UK’s most vulnerable children.

They believe in the abused, the most vulnerable, the forgotten and the neglected.
They will support them, stand up for them and bring out the best in each and every child.

The organisers of the match hope that they will be able to raise lots of money for the charity which is close to their hearts.
Local people are all invited to pop along and support the event on the day, you can also help to support the event by donating prizes for a raffle they will be holding where they have fantastic prizes from places such as Offbeat Brewery of Crewe and Repair World Direct of Edleston Road Crewe.
Bluebell Mini of Crewe have also donated a weekends use of a convertible mini that one lucky raffle winner is sure to love!

Stephen Evanson a member of local team Inter Galacticos said:
All my lads are really excited to have been asked to take part in such a worthwhile cause.
Now the date is drawing closer were really looking forward to a great game of football.
I’m hoping for a quality piece of cake and to win the mini weekend prize!!!!!

Yummy cakes are to be sold at their bake sale on the night so all you budding Nigellas please get in touch if you can donate some cakes for sale.
