Crewe’s live music venue The Box to stage a membership spectacular

The BoxCREWE’S live music venue The Box will be staging a membership spectacular on Friday July 11th.

The Pedley Street venue is launching a new membership scheme, whereby music fans can receive substantial reductions on seeing their favourite bands and artists.

To kick things off venue owner Ray Bruchez is offering free entry to an awe-inspiring show on Friday to those who sign up for the £10 annual membership on the night.

The show, which is normally £12 entry, will feature headliners rock/blue maestros “The Larry Miller Band”.

Doors open at 8pm.

After years in the business and constant touring Larry has built up a large following across the UK and Europe.

His status as guitar slinger, is becoming legendary with his exciting, mesmerising guitar playing and rip roaring live shows.

He has released six albums, all of which have received critical acclaim, the latest being ‘Unfinished Business’ which earned rave reviews.

In a staggeringly strong line-up, support for the show features Liverpool four-piece The Oil Chickens and blue-rock outfit Too Far Gone.

But perhaps the stand-out artists on the bill are Xander and The Peace Pirates.

Brothers Keith and Stuart Xander have been playing regular slots at The Cavern, along with support slots for stadium rockers Bon Jovi and Ritchie Kotzen.

But now they have come to the attention of one of the world’s most famous guitar companies – Gibson.

Gibson recognised their musical skills and song writing talents – but also the fact that guitarist Keith doesn’t actually have a right hand – he plays the guitar with a prosthetic ‘hook’ adapted to hold a plectrum!

Keith was always told by his school music teachers he would never be able to play a two handed instrument with a prosthetic hand –  he proved them all wrong, and is now a world class virtuoso – and an inspiration to musicians everywhere.

To see all the bands for free and to become a member of The Box and take advantage of reduced tickets in the future, visit the venue on Friday July 11th.
