Crewe Town Council Are Inviting Youngsters To Design Their New Logo

A great opportunity for children will be coming to Crewe Town Square during August where they will have the chance to put their ideas to the council.

Crewe town council will be holding a stall on Saturday 10th August during the Celtic Day celebrations which are being held on the Municipal square and have been organised by our town centre manager Sue Togay.

Children (under 16-yrs of age) are being invited to submit their very own designs for the new Crewe town council logo throughout the month of August.
All entries will be considered by the council and the best one will be chosen to represent our town.

There will also be prizes given out in a small ceremony in September hosted by the Mayor, Cllr Faseyi.

The logo can be interpreted in any way the children wish however the slogan that the council would like to be used is “A Voice for Crewe”.

There are many other ways at which to send in logo designs. You can either:

  • Drop it off with the council staff at the stall on the day.
  • Email your entry to
  • Post to Cllr Brookfield, c/o Town Centre Management (S Togay), Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe. CW1 2BH

Closing Date for all entries to be received by is 31st August 2013.

Be part of history by submitting a design that may be used as the symbol of our community!
