Crewe teenager Aidan Reid completes sponsored walk in aid of Macmillan

macmillan-campaignsKind hearted teenager Aidan Reid of Crewe took to his heels with a sponsored walk on December 6th to help raise much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Support

The walk began at Crewe cemetery at 11:50am with Aidan being seen off by Alexandra Sheen, Roy Sheen and Kalena Reid.

The walkers went all the way to the Barony sports complex in Nantwich and walked back to the starting point in Crewe.

Many people joined Aidan on the walk:

Liz Reid, Sam Guildford, Emma Guildford, Steven Baker, Nicole McGinlay, Stephanie Waterhouse, Katie Sample, Betty Davidson, Julie Hughes, Fay, Alison & Ella.

Reid UncleAidan organised this walk in respect for his uncle Alec (pictured).

Macmillan work hard raising funds to ensure nobody faces cancer alone and tries to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

They provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

The total raised from this fantastic event was a staggering £978.62
