Crewe-based Jones Sheridan complete 150-mile Coast-to-Coast bike ride

David Williams and Oliver Bridgman from Jones Sheridan Financial Consulting Ltd, based on Crewe Business Park, completed a 150-mile bicycle ride over the course of Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June.

The team raised an amazing amount of money for charity, with the total currently standing just short of £15,000.The money raised will be going to The Wingate Centre and The British Heart Foundation.

Coast 2 CoastJones Sheridan have supported The Wingate Centre, based in Nantwich, for a number of years, donating money to the charity from their annual golf day and recently purchasing new uniforms for staff members. The charity works with children and young adults suffering from all levels of disability or learning difficulties.

In their latest fundraising venture for The Wingate Centre, the 12-man team drove to Morecambe on the West coast, before navigating by bicycle to Harrogate for an overnight stay. The following day they skirted around York to the North, completing the remaining 80 or so miles to finish in Bridlington on the East coast on Sunday afternoon.

In total, the team were in the saddle for over 15 hours, powering up the steep inclines of the Yorkshire dales, with much-needed logistical and technical expertise provided by the two support vehicles they had organised.

David Williams, Managing Director of Jones Sheridan, said:
“The team were all extremely proud to arrive in Bridlington on the Sunday and delighted that we were able to raise so much money for charity causes close to our hearts, including our local cause The Wingate Centre, who we have been privileged to support for a number of years.
It’s fair to say that the Coast-to-Coast ride has taken up the vast majority of our free time since the start of the year and we’re delighted that our effort has paid off and that we’ll be making healthy donations to both The Wingate Centre and The British Heart Foundation.
I’m very proud of everyone who took part in the ride and would like to thank all of our clients, family and friends who have supported us and donated money to the cause.”

Jones Sheridan are still accepting donations in support of the charities and anyone who feels as though they can contribute should visit the team’s JustGiving page at
