Cheshire Fire Service Called To Motorcycle Fire In Crewe

Cheshire Fire service were called out at 14.58 today (April 9th) to a fire involving a motorcycle on grassland behind the back of Frank Webb avenue and Timbrell avenue.

Residents rang 999 after seeing thick, black smoke pouring over their gardens, the fire was very close to the substation at the back of the west end of Crewe properties.

The fire spread to dry grass but the incident was successfully dealt with by the fire service and cheshire police.

It is not known how the fire started or where the bike came from.
