Cheshire Constabulary and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service To Host Joint Open Day

Cheshire Constabulary & Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service are holding a Joint Community Engagement event at Cheshire Constabulary Headquarters in Winsford on Sunday 22nd September

Cheshire Fire and RescueThe event has once again received financial support by a grant from the Big Lottery Fund.

The event is open from 11am – 4pm and will provide an insight into the wide variety of work undertaken by officers and staff working for Cheshire Constabulary, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and other agencies we work with.

cheshirePolice_logoThroughout the day there will be interactive displays, exhibitions and children’s entertainment.

The day will provide an exciting and free day out for families where they will be able to watch demonstrations involving the Police dogs, how the emergency services respond to a road traffic collision, and the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service Cadets taking part in a knockout competition.

Poem Competition

In the lead up to this year’s Fire and Police – Joint Community Engagement Event, a poem competition is being run to win a VIP tour of Cheshire Constabulary’s Headquarters.
