ANTs Pave The Way At Queens Park, Crewe

ANTSQueen’s Park ANTs a community group that help with general gardening and cleaning duties in the park are out in force again this weekend and are looking for more volunteers.

Following the release of £500,000 by Cheshire East Council for new footpaths, the group are determined to push forward with further improvements to the park.

ANT’s coordinator Leanne Haythornthwaite said:
“We are extremely pleased the combined effort of The Friends Of The Park and the ANT’s Volunteers have been acknowledged by the council with their commitment to improving the paths in the park.


It has made us more determined to continue the good work we started last summer”.

If you would like to join the ANTs this weekend and help with planting areas, sanding and painting benches and general tidying of the park, just sign in at the lodge house next to the main gates between 10am – 4pm on either Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th March.
