The annual ‘Cheshire Triathlon’ took place in and around Nantwich on Sunday 31st May 2015.
The Cheshire Triathlon event consisted of a 200m or 500m swim in Nantwich Bath’s outdoor brine pool, a 20km cycle ride around the roads of south Cheshire, and a 2.5km or 5km run in the Barony Park.
Competitors varied from novices to club triathlete level and many were raising money for charity.
Strong winds made conditions in the pool particularly choppy and rain for the majority of the event made cycling more challenging.
The finish point in the Barony Park featured an athlete massage area, photographic area, several trade stands and food outlets.
Each finisher received a medal and there were also trophies for category winners.
