South Cheshire Ramblers enjoyed an evening walk in Nantwich on Thursday 6th June 2013.
The walk was around the 3 mile ‘Nantwich Riverside Loop‘ and was led by Paul Boniface, who is also their Publicity Officer.
The Loop starts/finishes in Welsh Row and takes in sections of the River Weaver, Nantwich Lake and the Shropshire Union Canal.
The walk was attended by twenty-two people and took just over an hour to complete.
After the walk everyone was invited to The Black Lion pub on Welsh Row for a general knowledge quiz organised by Paul.
“I was very pleased with this evenings turn out. It was good to see some new faces joining us for a lovely summer evenings walk. All new walkers are welcome.”
