Aradia Careers is a new Employment and Training website exclusively for the Cheshire area and will feature news about local employers and current open vacancies, as well as training courses currently being run in the Cheshire area.
The website is looking for employer news stories, current vacancies and details of training available in Cheshire, so if you are a business, organisation, community or volunteer group etc. they would love to hear from you.
The vacancies can be full time, part time, permanent, contract, self employed, voluntary…….in fact any kind of vacancy you have.
Jobs advertised must be current positions that adhere to all UK employment laws.
The website has been created by Stephanie Heath and Angela Cox.
Stephanie told the Crewe News:
“I was looking around for a new job.
I really wanted to be able to go to a single place and find news and information about the local employment market.
What I found was that every site I visited featured many of the same jobs from larger companies, and not much from other sources.
I spent a good couple of hours a day trawling through many dedicated employment websites, individual agency and local employer sites, not to mention local newspapers, I found it really frustrating!
One night when I was talking to Angela, I said how nice it would be to be able go to just one website and find information relevant to me! That’s where the idea for Aradia Careers came from”.
“There are many Job sites on the internet these days, which are without doubt a valuable resource to both recruiters and people looking for employment.
However, many vacancies never get advertised on these sites.
Many businesses do not have a budget to advertise vacancies on national websites or in recruitment pages. Many positions are advertised by word of mouth alone.
Aradia Careers’ will provide a more ‘local’ source for job vacancies within the area. We aim to feature as many vacancies as possible across Cheshire, alongside news stories and press releases from companies expanding their operations and looking for staff. We want to work with Businesses, recruiters and agencies to make Aradia Careers the ‘one stop job shop’”.
Stephanie was also keen to point out that they were not an employment agency of any kind.
“Aradia Careers is a place where positions are advertised to anyone looking for that perfect job, or to better their prospects through Training. Applicants will be informed of how they can apply for any role they fancy via the website”
The service is currently free to use and you can contact Aradia Careers at firstname.lastname@example.org
